Schedule Backup and Restore NSX Manager data
Backup NSX Manager
Step 1. Login to NSX Manager by opening a browser and navigating to https://IP_or_FQDN
Step 2. Click on Backup & Restore
Step 3. Select Change next to FTP Server Settings
Step 4. Specify your Backup Location which will be either FTP or SFTP then hit OK
Step 5. You can either manually run the backup, or schedule it. To manually run the backup, simply click the Backup button.
Step 5. The click Start
Step 5a. To Schedule the backup, click the Change next to Scheduling
Step 5b. Specify the Backup Frequency, Day of the Week, Hour of the Day, and Minute the click Schedule
Note: You can exclude Audit Logs, System Events, and Flow Records from a backup by selecting the Change button next to Exclude.
Restore NSX Manager
Step 6. To restore the NSX Manager, click on the backup that you would like to restore, and click the Restore button.

You are doing a great job. Would like to ask a few questions.
1. What type of data is backed up using FTP, is this kind of backup completely backs up the NSX environment and we do not require any backup tool?
2. Is restoring NSX that simple?
